Carbotech™ XP8™ ( This item will ship directly from Carbotech) Carbotech brake pads are a special order item. Returns will not be accepted!

A high torque brake compound with a wide operating temperature range of 200°F-1250°F+ (93°C to 676°C+). Carbotech™ XP8™ is the first of our racing compounds. Good initial bite at race temperatures, high coefficient of friction, excellent modulation and release characteristics. Extremely high fade resistance and very rotor friendly. Perfect for track day use with any tire and can still be driven safely to and from the track. Carbotech™ does NOT recommended XP8™ as a daily driven street pad due to elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotech™ XP8™ is a great compound on the front & rear of most open wheel and sports racers.

spec miata race pads

i use carbotech brake pads in my spec miata race car and love the modulation, pedal feedback / feel, longevity and consistence thought a race. they never grab, fade or fail. i even use to use them on my street car with occasional trips to a track day without issue.

The carbotech brake pads are excellent for my Spec Miata. They have great grip, but are also easy to modulate. I use XP10 in the front and XP8 in the rear. Winding Road Racing drop shipped the brakes to me directly from the manufacturer, so shipping was SO fast!

E46 M3 HPDE track pad

I had to find a new replacement for Hawk Street/race which I think is DTC30 (no longer in production). Like it's product description of track and HPDE, it is the perfect pad for me. I'm not looking for extra seconds on the track but pad that will not fade, easy to modulate, easy to bed... basically a fuss free track pad that I can drive to the track. Once the pad is bedded in, on the street, it is adequate and on the track, it is just right!
