Sometimes bad is good, but in this case bad is great.

As with all true art, lengthy debates can be had about the best and the worst in the series, with some viewers' favorites ranking at the bottom of others' scale. As a result, these are great party films.

Some examples in this must have box set:

The Fast and the Furious  - Benchmark and creator of the genre, therefore worthy of a vote for best of the series. The cars in this are mostly super ricers, although the ending scene is a classic, drag racing an orange mega-riced Supra against a black '70 Charger with a giant supercharger sticking out of the hood. Gotta love it.

Fast & Furious - Full cast returns, bringing back some glory with them. Backwards racing through Mexican border tunnels, etc. is pretty great.

Fast Five - Added The Rock to the cast, and has less realism than FF4, but more than FF6 (they drag a safe through the streets of Rio at high speed using two Dodge Chargers). Remember, realism is for losers.

Fast & Furious 6 - Everything about this movie was hilariously absurd. It ramps up the lack of realism to an insane level with three chase scenes, the first involving the "flip car," the second involving a tank and the other involving an airplane driving down a never-ending runway.  This one also probably has the best cars, although they are used in a way that makes very little sense, which just multiplies the charm. There is a street race in London between a Jensen Interceptor and a Plymouth Superbird (both with Nos of course). And then they chase the tank with a mk1 Escort and a '69 fastback Mustang.
