Building upon the successful 129 series, Racetech offers the same ergonomic form and incredible features, but in a lighter and more affordable package. Used by many professional teams at both national and international level. There are three sizes available; standard, tall and wide-tall. Customize your seat further with low base cushions or add side cushions for support in the thigh area. The 119 series seats are compliant with FIA 8855-1999 standards *.

* To comply with FIA 8855-1999, the 119 series seats must be back-mounted to the rollcage at shoulder level. Back-mounting can be achieved using parts RTB2005B and RTB2005C. Back-mounting improves seat strength and stability during an impact, increases driver 'feel' and reduces driver fatigue.

Fewer backaches

I don't know what magic formula Racetech uses, but this seat, under race conditions, is more comfortable in the experience of our team. You can feel it even when the car isn't moving, but under high g loads the back area of the seat seems to do its job better than the OMP and Recaro seats we've tried. Of course, driver sizes and shapes will matter, but our team of fairly skinny guys likes this one. Only drawback is that it requires a back brace.
