Sabelt Steel Series 6-Point Harness

These Sabelt harnesses are homologated to FIA 8853-2016.

Options include:

• 3-inch or 2-inch shoulder belts. 3-inch belts will work with all drivers, regardless of whether they are wearing a head and neck restraint or not. The 2-inch option is designed for drivers who are wearing head and neck restraints such as a HANS or Necksgen that are held in place with the shoulder belt. The 2-inch belts are more comfortable when wearing a head and neck restraint.
• NOTE: Pull-down lap belts are only available in the 3-inch shoulder belt / 2-inch lap belt configuration.
• 3-inch or 2-inch lap belts. This is a matter of personal preference as both belts are rated for the same strength, but many smaller drivers, in particular, find 2" lap belts to be less bulky and more comfortable. 2" belts are designed to cinch down lower on your hip bone.
• NOTE: Pull-down lap belts are only available in the 3-inch shoulder belt / 2-inch lap belt configuration.
• Pull-up or pull-down lap belt adjustment style.This is another matter of personal preference: how do you like to adjust your lap belts? Pull-up lap belts have the adjuster for the lap belts closer to the mounting point on the floor. Pull-up belts are ideal for situations where crew members help a driver in and out of the car as well as in cars that have extra space beside the outside of the seat (for example, between the seat and the transmission tunnel). For smaller cockpits, a pull-down lap belt that has the adjuster closer to the center camlock works better, as it takes up less space beside the seat to make these work.
• NOTE: Pull-down lap belts are only available in the 3-inch shoulder belt / 2-inch lap belt configuration.
• Bolt-in or snap hook harness mounts for submarine and lap belts. Snap hook (also known as clip-in) mounts are ideal for cars where you may need to remove or swap out the harness from time to time, such as cars that get driven on the street in between track weekends. Snap hook mounts require an eye hook to mount. Bolt-in mounts are ideal for dedicated track-only vehicles where the harness can remain in the car until it needs to be replaced.
