Great Racing Shoe!
I found the Apex RB-7's extremely comfortable and they give a great pedal feel. The sole is not too stiff, and they are easy to put on and take off.

Thumbs up for Women!
First, I am reviewing these as a competition aerobatic pilot who happens to be female with small, narrow feet. Competition pilots often wear auto racing gear for both fire protection (our fuel tanks are between our legs!) and for pedal feel. I have tried on numerous brands of shoes and often they are much too wide, not adjustable enough, or the sole is too thick. These Sparco shoes are the answer - the laces snug down, the footbed is narrow, & the sole thin enough AND they are made in small sizes. For reference I wear a 6.5/7N in women's shoes and the size 37 fit well. I like the way the laces sung up under the strap so I can bail out more safely in an emergency. The only negative I've seen so far is they are so "sticky", sliding my feet from rudder to toe brakes takes a bit more motion than I'm used to. Obviously, I don't have info on durability yet, but I hope to get several seasons out of them.
