Good seat, but get the measurements right

The seat is great for what it is. It's a cheap, light weight seat that will fit in a Miata. It's reasonably comfortable for what it is. The seat may run a bit big. I am 6 ft 175# and I sat on the ground with 2 cinder blocks on each side of me pressed against my hips and measured 14" between them and so I ordered at 14" seat. This was too big. I have put some carpet squares in the sides under the cover to make it a bit tighter. I probably would have preferred a 12". Just something to consider.

Light, easy to install, and durable

I recently purchased the 17" Ultrashield Rally Sport seat for my 1990 Miata and it fit perfectly. For mounting, I used a special bracket designed by Track Dog Racing in Dallas, TX. The bracket mounts directly to the factory seat holes in the car and the seat mounts directly to the bracket. The bracket comes with all of the required hardware so all you need is a drill and the correct drill bits. Very easy to install. The only reason I gave it a four-star review was I feel that there's not enough padding on the seat for back support. The bottom is very comfortable but for long trips to the track, you may be feeling it in your back. It's still a great seat and a simple fix is to just add a layer of padding yourself.

Awesome buy

This is an awesome buy! Good quality, strong, even has the 6-point sub-belt holes. Padding isnt bad, very comfortable for a race seat. Lightweight too
